We opened our club in In 2016 in a small Finnish town Imatra, near the Russian border. And they came up with a name: Imatran Shakki.

С 2020 Our classes are online, and today our students are playing chess with us. from 35 countries of the world. We have long been unbound by countries and borders, but the name remains.

We believe distance doesn't matter. What matters is the desire to learn, grow, and enjoy the game.

Who is our club for?

We work with:

♟️ children from 5 years old;

♟️ teenagers;

♟️ adults;

♟️ Beginners and experienced chess players.

We select groups based on age and skill level to ensure that each student has an interesting and comfortable learning experience.

From September 1 to 7 We invite all new students to free trial lessons.

This is a great opportunity to meet the teachers, see how the lessons are conducted, and choose a suitable group.

Club prices Prices are fixed on September 1st and remain unchanged throughout the year until August 31st. We have several types of memberships, see which one is right for you.

To register, please fill out application form. After this, the administrator will contact you by email and send you a link to the Zoom class.

Our club is a large international chess community.

Throughout the year we regularly conduct:

FREE CLUB TOURNAMENTS

Every week we hold 4 series of online tournaments. Participation is free for everyone! Based on the results of the tournaments, personalized diplomas are issued, and our game currency, Peshkariki, is also credited, for which you can choose prizes yourself on our website.

How to determine your level for our club's groups and tournaments:
Pawns are beginners, 1-2 months of training. Personality rating up to 500
Pawns – 1 year of study, rating 500-800
Horses - rating 800-1100
Elephants - Rating 1100-1400
Rooks - 1400-1700
Queens - 1700-2000
Kings - 2000+

You must have completed your lichess profile information (first and last name), and your profile must be public. Diplomas are awarded for all our regular tournaments with more than three participants.
